All We Need Is Somebody To Lean On

I recently took a last minute and impromptu 5 day visit to Barcelona and I LOVED it! The place was so amazing and beautiful, with amazing weather and beaches! Whilst out there I obviously did some (a lot) of shopping and I managed to pick up this lovely maxi dress! Not only is the pattern nice, its also the perfect length for my short height!! I'm about 5ft 1/5ft 2 so finding long dresses that don't drag along the ground, like a small child wearing it's mother's clothes, is extremely difficult! 

I also adore the back, it's pretty much open with some straps which cross over. This makes it perfect to wear on a summers evening if you're popping out up the pub or to a friends! However, you could also dress it up with heels and wear out :)

The material is also very light with two slits up each side (which is great on a hot, summers day! Especially in England at the moment) but it also has a slip underneath to ensure it's not see through!! (Nothing worse than see through clothes.)

I believe I bought this dress for around €25 which is a bargain when converted to pounds.

It's My House And I Think It's Time I Got Out

Hello! I am back with another outfit post finally! I recently bought some new clothes and have been loving them so thought I'd share on here! A couple of weeks ago I visited Manchester and ended up going to the Trafford Centre (which if you're not familiar with is such a massive, cool shopping centre in Manchester in the UK). As always I couldn't leave a big shopping trip without visiting a shoe shop and getting some new Vans haha!

As you can see here I bought some black classic slip-ons, which I've had my eye on for a while. I can't stop wearing them with my new Topshop Joni Jeans (one of my favourite skinny jeans around) which are ripped at the knee. Both items are so comfortable and great for everyday wear! 

A couple of days ago I also spontaneously bought a new jacket from H&M. I don't often buy stuff from H&M as I find it a bit hit and miss but I've had my eye on some shoes which are sold out in my size everywhere :( Anyway so this jacket caught my attention and I had to try it on to put my mind at rest and then I just had to have it! Although, I should probably tone it down with the jacket and shoe shopping as I have quite a collection growing haha!

In more exciting news my 21st birthday is approaching!!! I can't quite believe it to be honest, it's come round so fast. I have a party planned soon with friends and family so I'm looking forward to celebrating in style... with a few drinks of course ;)

Wow, so it's been a while since I last blogged! Not quite sure what happened there haha I'm hoping to try and get back into it though! Since my last post I had an amazing holiday to Florida in September and also had a lovely Christmas and New Year with friends and family. I'm kind of glad 2014 is over though and love the feeling of a new start which a new year brings, so I'm looking forward to seeing what 2015 holds! I also have a pretty big birthday this year as I'm turning 21, which is a scary thought!

Anyway so I'm now off to meet up with my best friend Fay and heading to our new favourite restaurant Gourmet Burger Kitchen later, it's so yummy! Before I went though I thought I would share a quick few outfits which I've been loving recently! Hopefully be back soon with some more updated outfit posts :)

Oh, I'm A Mess Right Now Inside Out

Today Fay and I had the day off so we decided to head into town for some outfit pictures! I am loving this new dress I got recently from Missguided. I wasn't too sure on it at first but now I absolutely love it! I love the patterns on it and really love the colour of it! It's actually a smock style dress but I thought it suited me better with a belt round the middle so it didn't swamp me haha

I teamed the dress with my trusty Vans as usual! I don't actually own any sandals or summery shoes so should probably invest in some as I can't live in trainers for the whole summer haha

The weather today started off really hot and rather nice! However, come the evening it had started to rain and got a tad chilly so I looked a bit silly in a dress haha Fay and I had a Nandos (which I got for the grand price of £2.80 as I had a Nandos reward ;P) and then we headed back to mine to chill out and drink tea with biscuits!

When We Were Younger We Thought Everyone Was On Our Side

Today was a lovely day in England and I decided to go meet Fay on her break at work as she would have been on her own otherwise! We bought a Subway and headed to the park to sit in the sunshine and chill out! Afterwards we popped into a couple of shops and then I quickly took some outfit pictures as I am loving this new dress from Missguided!

So last night I started looking at clothes online and this never ends well as I normally end up finding something I like, which is not good for my bank balance! I always forget about looking on Missguided but this time I did and ended up finding some lovely dresses which included this one. I'm really into skater dresses and this one immediately caught my eye!

If you spent over a certain amount you got free next day delivery but I wasn't actually expecting it to come today as I ordered it quite late so it was a nice surprise to find out it did turn up this morning! This was a perfect opportunity to whip out my new coral Vans as well :) I really love the neckline on this dress as well as I don't own many v neck style items and this one isn't too revealing either haha I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality, it's not a thin flimsy bit of material, so definitely worth the money!

Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather in England at the moment! It's beautiful but no doubt will be back to raining soon aha

When I Met You In The Summer

After a wild saturday night out clubbing for Shane's birthday, and still feeling it Sunday, it was nice to wake up on Monday to some lovely weather! I didn't get up as early as planned, as you can imagine I didn't get much sleep over the weekend haha 

However once I had arisen, Fay text me to say that it was lovely weather and she was outside in her garden blogging so I thought I'd join her! I've never worn this dress from Boohoo before as it's a little big but with a belt around it I thought it looked quite nice! I love the colours and patterns in it, so may have to wear this more often! The sunny weather also gave me a chance to test out my new Topshop sunglasses which I love <3

The nice weather lasted until the evening where it then started to rain! Typical British weather for you! Although it was still rather warm so the dress was still appropriate haha 

I'm now getting ready to hit up the gym with Fay so thought I would put this up before I went as Fay wants to watch Harry Potter afterwards :P

But Your Ghost, The Ghost Of You It Keeps Me Awake

On the 5th of June it was my best friend Shane's birthday! He finally turned the big 20 and joined Fay and I in the non - teenager club haha bit of a scary thought knowing you're no longer a teenager :(

We didn't know what to get Shane for his birthday present and he didn't have any ideas in mind so Fay mentioned to me about booking him a massage, as he has been going on for absolutely ages about wanting one! I thought it was a great idea so we booked him into a place recommended by someone we knew and kept it a surprise from him! 

On the day of his birthday we picked him up and whisked him off to the spa/salon. The drive there Shane started getting a bit nervous to the point of feeling sick, especially when he found out he'd be on his own! Luckily once he arrived and found out what we'd planned for him he calmed down and enjoyed it! Fay and I decided to walk round the town while he was getting it done looking for some photo opportunities for our blogs!

After just over an hour, in the middle of searching for places to photograph in, Shane text to say he was done so we met up with him and we all had some lunch in a local Italian! Afterwards we carried on our search for a nice place for a photo opportunity and spotted a lovely bridge overlooking a river!

Even though it was quite warm this day and I probably didn't need a jacket, I ended up wearing my favourite denim jacket from Topshop in a light blue colour! I teamed this with my dark blue Joni Jeans from Topshop and my orange palm tree vest top from New Look. As always I had my old faithful Vans trainers on and my new River Island satchel bag. I was in a bit of a rush when I got changed but I think my outfit turned out okay in the end! :)

Finally to end I also picked up some new sunglasses whilst we were out as I desperately needed a new pair as my original pair were years old! I find it difficult finding sunglasses in the right shape which suit my face but luckily I found this lovely pair in Topshop! They are a black tortoise shell style and the lenses have a slight purple look to them, I love them!
